Wow - that is a nice kit, even with a genuine cat's whisker diode, and the polyurethane to finish the wood as well! Still, $190 is way over the top.

I know what you mean. Interestingly it's on sale for 47% off (as I write this post) for "only" $99.99. I'd consider paying that price if it came pre-assembled. There is no way with my arthritis I'd ever get that loop wound.
